WHY a sonar/GPS course?

The answer is simple: because you want to be a better fisherman! Right?

What’s the point of spending hundreds or even thousands of dollars if you don’t know how your device works? It’s true that a good understanding of your marine electronics can help you make your time on the water much more efficient. This cutting-edge equipment can make you a formidable fisherman, but you still have to know how to use it!

Whether it’s to make an informed choice on a future purchase, understand the basic operation or have a better interpretation of your device in order to get the most out of it, investing in a sonar/GPS course could open your eyes to the most essential tool that modern fishing has given us.

Fishing without sonar is like fishing blindly and using it in combination with a GPS will make your approach much more precise and productive.

Come learn how it works!

My sonar/GPS course is a training that I give on the water, in my boat. We are therefore in a real situation, allowing you to assimilate the information and advice given much more easily. This way of doing things allows for a better interpretation of marine electronics since we are in front of concrete examples. Since it is a personalized course, it will be given according to the fishing experience of each group.

For 2025, I will offer my sonar/GPS course full time as soon as Lake St-Louis (metropolitan region) is free of ice, from April 1st (maybe even before!) until April 21st. It will therefore be possible for anyone interested to use my services and learn more about marine electronics.

Afterwards, it will always be possible to have access to this training according to my availability between 2 guides. It is a matter of calling and checking if it is possible.
